UGANDA CHILDRENíS CENTRE LAUNCHES THE COMPUTER AND DIGITAL SKILLS PROJECT FUNDED BY MANOS UNIDAS
In December 2025, Uganda Children's Centre (UCC) launched an ambitious new initiative ó
the "Empowerment of Vulnerable Girls in Kampala Slums with Computer and Digital Skills
Training Project for Job Creation" ó targeting vulnerable young girls in the informal settle-
ments of Makindye and surrounding areas.
UGANDA CHILDRENíS CENTRE JOINS YOUTHMAKERS HUB AT A YOUTH TRAINING
UCC mobilized two young girls, Patricia Nabagabo and Priscillah Nabakaabya to represent
other young girls who are currently training in computer and digital skills at UCC Centre
CHILDREN CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS AT A COLOURFUL PARTY ORGANIZED BY UCC
Every year UCC holds a Childrenís Christmas party among children benefiting directly from
the organization, and others hailing from nearby communities. During the celebrations,
former beneficiaries or Alumni, UCC staff, and other well-wishers are all welcomed.
